A pillar of the American jazz world throughout the 20th century, Max Roach was a frequent collaborator of fellow legends such as Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, and many more. Max’s contributions to the art form started at an early age, and throughout his lifetime continued to shape and form contemporary drumming as we know it.

This shirt celebrates a century of Max’s influence on the music community and his longtime friendship with the Zildjian family.
